Why Are Flash Cards So Important?
Flash cards top this Chords Section of our library. The power behind these flash cards is they let you practice identifying chords without having to be at the piano to do it.
What's in these cards is what you need to know. The entire deck is a great gauge of your understanding.
There are three types of flash cards included in this set:
- Keyboard recognition cards;
Keyboard Cards: Made up of two sets of cards; the first showing a full keyboard with notes placed; and the second showing an abbreviated keyboard that increases difficulty of identification.

- Lines and Spaces on the Staff cards;
Staff Cards: Divided into two sets; one for the Treble Clef and the other for the Bass. Each card includes additional information on the back regarding the type of note being shown, the basic count for that note and the various ways to count it.
